The Swimathon Foundation
The Swimathon Foundation is the charity behind the world’s biggest swim.
Each year, Swimathon raises funds for a nominated charity - which has included Macmillan Cancer support, NSPCC, The British Heart Foundation, The Prince’s Trust and, most recently, Marie Curie Cancer Care - and the Swimathon Foundation.
The Foundation offers grants to organisations and individuals who provide and promote swimming to their local community. It’s proven that taking regular exercise can improve health and wellbeing. Sometimes a little extra funding can help take this message to a lot more people. Read more
As one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events, Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives. The money raised by the public is spent by Comic Relief to help people living incredibly tough lives, both at home in the UK and across the world.

The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Games
The first ever Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Games, will take place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd March 2014, featuring the Swimathon. It’s your chance to run, swim or cycle your way to raising cash at over a thousand venues around the country, including our landmark events at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Read more
British Swimming is the National Governing Body for Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Open Water in Great Britain. It is responsible internationally for the high performance representation of the sport. Read more
