Jolyon Finck is Director of Swimming at Millfield School in Somerset. Over the course of his 15-year swimming coaching career, Jolyon has tutored swimmers ranging from complete beginners to elite international performers.
A fanatical biomechanist and physiologist, Jolyon constantly endeavors to be at the forefront of swimming thinking around the world.
Since 2008, Jolyon has led Millfield School to significant success at all levels of competition. Jolyon came to Millfield from Melbourne Vicentre Swimming Club in Melbourne, Australia – a club that is known for producing some of world’s best swimmers. Jolyon’s success has seen him selected as a coach on the National swimming team for three different nations and he has toured the world with various teams through the course of his coaching career.
With an SAL Gold Licence swimming qualification and degrees in Anatomical Science, Education and Sports Performance Management, Jolyon brings a unique quotient of both art and science to his skills on the pool side.
